A Silver Vignette Interview with our eldest Member, Anita Tamm.
Established in 1931, Boulder Business and Professional Women is a local membership organization. Our mission is to build full participation, equity, and economic self-sufficiency for working women. Together we are powerful: professionally, politically, and personally. BPW operates at the local, state and national level. Our state organization is Colorado Business Women (CBW). The national organization is Business and Professional Women's Foundation.
As a national organization Business and Professional Women (BPW) was founded in 1919. In January 2009, the membership organization merged with BPW Foundation. Boulder BPW members voted to continue the history, legacy, and advocacy through BPW Foundation. BPW Foundation and CBW have been leaders in passing much of the landmark civil and women's rights legislation of our time at the national and state levels.
Boulder BPW membership is mostly comprised of individuals seeking to advance their personal and professional goals. We are a nonpartisan organization open to all women and men who wish to support and participate in our mission, get connected, and develop long lasting business and personal relationships.
Boulder BPW Meets the THIRD THURSDAYS of each month. A calendar of events is located to the right on our website.
